Epi 128: Balancing The Sacral Chakra - a Guided Meditation
When was the last time you gave yourself a mental and emotional boost? Every once in a while, we need to reset and bring ourselves back to center. Feeding yourself positive affirmations allows you to elevate your mood, find a sense of peace, and shift your perspective to help you keep your life together, girl! Welcome to Sacral balancing meditation, a guided meditation to meet yourself and witness your wholeness through clearing and reclaiming your second chakra. The center of developing relationships, self-gratification, creativity, emotions, sexuality, and nurture.
Settle in now, finding a comfortable position as you relax your shoulders down your spine, release your jaw, and let go of any tension, whether in your mind or body. As you settle, deepen your breath, inhaling through your nose, allowing your breath to find the bottom of your lungs, and slowly release it through your nose with a slow and steady exhale. Continue to breathe with both ease and effort.
You are taking a journey now inside your mind to meet yourself. A journey that allows you to rebalance the second chakra.
Take another full deep breath and slowly let it go. If your eyes are not already closed, please close them softly now.
Clear your mind.
As you take the next inhale, visualize yourself in your mind’s eye. Do not try to change the image that comes in; instead, see yourself as you are. Allow yourself to take up space. We are journeying through opening each charka before we balance your center of creativity.
As you see yourself fully form, look around. Take in what you see. Find peace in it, and then notice a mirror in the corner of your room. It’s a beautiful, ornate mirror calling for your attention.
Allow yourself to move slowly to the mirror and see yourself in the reflection. Notice the finest detail of your form. If the voice of negativity begins to sneak in, invite it to leave now. That mistruth is not welcome here now or ever again.
As you peer into the mirror, let your eyes trace up and down your body.
At the base of your spine, visualize a red ball of energy forming and shining from your first chakra, the root. See the red energy circle without stopping. Just be within it. Now, move slightly below your navel in the second chakra, the sacral charka, and welcome an orange circle of light. Let the lights spin beautifully. We’ll be returning here soon. Just allow the light to glow, and then trace your eyes to the solar plexus above the navel, in the 3rd charka, and allow a yellow circle to shine.
Take another full breath, holding on to the image of you and when you are ready, move to the middle of your chest, the 4th chakra, the heart. See this space filled with a brilliant hue of green. Feel its comfort.
Let your eyes trace to the middle of your throat, in the fifth chakra, the throat chakra, and see a vivid blue appear.
With the spinning of the red, orange, yellow, green, and blue wheels of energy, move to the center of your forehead, the brow chakra, the third eye, and the sixth chakra. Let the most beautiful light in the hue of indigo shine from your forehead.
Holding onto that beauty, move to the top of your head, letting a pure white light settle in the crown chakra—the 7th and final major charka.
Take a deep breath as you honor the exquisite colors and energy tracing up and down your body.
Take another deep breath and settle into whatever sensation is arising within you.
The health of your sacral charka is critical as this is the center of your creative energy. It’s the center of sexual orientation. It’s also the center of your perspectives surrounding food and nutrition. Finally, it’s the chakra of emotional intelligence, choice, movement, and pleasure.
Breathe into your Sacral Chakra. Let it gently soften and expand on your breath, taking in nourishment and life-force energy. As you do, invite the color orange --- the color of the setting sun to bathe all of you in its beauty. Let this balancing, empowering, and motivating energy settle.
When the Sacral is balanced, you will find you are creatively inspired, able to experience pleasure and balanced emotions, hold healthy boundaries for yourself, and are passionate.
With a deep breath, send energy directly below your navel.
Look back in the mirror, speak directly to yourself, and repeat these Sacral affirmations after me:
I am a creative force.
I possess the ability, power, and knowledge to create.
I am celebrating my creativity.
I live a passionate life.
I am emotionally balanced.
My emotions and feelings flow in and out freely.
I am releasing unnecessary emotions as they come in.
I am deriving pleasure from my life.
I embrace my sexuality.
I am worthy of being desired.
I deserve absolute and unconditional bliss.
I allow the flow of positive energy to effortlessly move through me.
I am vibrating pure light.
I honor my body and treat myself respectfully.
I am a being of light, open to the highest joy.
I love who I am, exactly as I am.
All that I am is in perfect harmony.
All that I am is in perfect harmony.
Take another deep breath and bathe yourself in this warm orange light.
You are right where you need to be, as you are, with the lessons and life you currently have.
You are creative and light. You are strong and emotionally sound. The flow of everything pure and good moves through you now. Your sacral chakra is clear and ready to support you.
Allow yourself to enjoy this tremendous energy of feeling safe and secure in your place in this world. Rest in a moment of just being. Rest in the rooting.
Offer yourself love, in the mirror and gently allow the image to dissolve. What was in the mirror is within you. All of this radiant light lives within your physical self and your soul.
In your own time, take a deep breath, begin to notice the sounds around you, and become aware of your physical body. Slowly allow yourself to come fully come back. Before you open yourself, know that having the intention to be root is enough. It’s a focus, and where your focus goes, so too does your mind, body, and spirit.
When you are ready, wiggle your fingers and toes, make slight movements with your shoulders, and notice how you feel. Hold yourself in loving kindness.
Take one final deep breath and gently open your eyes.
