Epi 209: Shanti, Shanti, Shanti - A Gentle Meditation

Find a comfortable position and take a deep breath. Now, close your eyes and allow your thoughts to soften. Bring your mind to a state of stillness and focus on two beautiful words. Those words are peace and Shanti. Shanti is a Sanskrit term that can be loosely translated as “peace be with you.” It’s a reminder that peace is always within your grasp.

Because being at peace is a choice. A daily choice that reminds us that we are on a journey—a journey of learning, of lessons and redirection, a journey of creating balance and deep inner understanding, and a journey that has always been meant to guide us to the humble state in which we arrived, in peace and embodying Shanti.

Take a full, deep breath.

Let the words guide you into deeper peace and repeat them aloud if it serves you. 

I am at peace. My life is an echo of Shanti. I live in the unfolding of all the things that occur, no matter how I may first perceive them, whether good or bad, because I know that within everything peace exists. I seek peace. I acknowledge it, and I choose to live within it.

From now on, I am choosing to guide my inner thoughts through Shanti and allow them to be an echo of my peace. What I radiate grows and comes back to me, and it’s with this knowledge that I choose Shanti as my guide.

Breathe in. Breathe out.

I have also come to understand that my world does not have to be in complete harmony or stillness for me to be grounded in the humbleness that peace has to offer. I simply use it to protect my energy, to feed myself good-feeling thoughts, engage through a balanced mindset, and be the reflection of the good in my life.

I let go of my ego and its push for constant results. Instead, I walk the path of peace where more is unfolding for me. It’s a path that is bricked with only the highest, truest, and best.

Peace is my superpower. I am using it to shape my beautiful, unstoppable now. I am unlimited. I am the very definition of Shanti.

I AM:

I am peace.

I am at peace.

I am living in a state of constant peace.

I am the deliberate creator of my story, of my life, and it is my desire to guide my choices through peace.

I am accepting that not everything happens in peace, and yet, it’s still an option for me.

I am the protector of my peace and choose to hold space for myself.

I am living my life in a limitless state of abundance; that abundance is guided through peace.

There are simply no other words to say other than, “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Om, Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.

Take a deep full breath in and slowly let it go.

Anytime you need a moment to come back to center. Repeat these words and lean into Shanti. Lean into the understanding that peace is always within you, if you choose to allow it to be felt, to be seen, and to grow. May peace be with you.
