Epi 229: Why Fake Self-Care Doesn’t Work

There’s a good chance that at one point or another, you’ve either been told you need to practice some form of self-care, or you’ve actively sought out some form of care to help you maintain your life, health, and overall well-being. The biggest issue is sometimes what we choose doesn’t help! Many of us think we know what self-care is and why we need it, but  let’s face it: fake self-care will not solve your problems, help you find balance, and will not serve you in the long run.

So, today, you and I are taking a one-on-one deep dive into proper self-care, when and how it’s most beneficial, and I’ll hand over seven forms of self-care you may need to prioritize for your overall well-being.
