Epi 115: Letting Go of Worrying - Mindset Reset
Worry is an emotion that, although it can be helpful in working through certain situations when used to drive plan-based or result-based thinking positively, yet, when it’s done in excess and occurring multiple times throughout any given day that worry can be problematic to the mind, body, and soul on all levels. Stress from worrying affects the circulation of energy in the body. It disrupts the nervous system and impacts your liver to the point that it dumps excess sugar into the bloodstream and impedes your inner voice from allowing your wisdom to be heard and acknowledged.
Epi 108: Are You Causing Yourself to Fail? - Mindset Reset
Did you know that most people have a common failure pattern? Most people have strategies that they engage in that causes them to struggle or even fail, even if they truly desire to win or have a positive outcome.
Knowing your patterns are essential, and it’s the subject of this week’s mindset reset. Kayla from the UK wrote, “Danielle, I often feel stuck. I’ve read books. I’ve worked with a therapist. I’ve listened to your podcasts on being stuck, but I keep wondering if the problem isn’t actually me. I spend a lot of my time thinking about how hard it is to make changes, and then I stop myself from doing the work. I am unrealistic about how long change takes and constantly beat myself up. I am always failing. I can see this is a pattern for me, but I don’t know how to change it. Can you help?”
Epi 105: Building Connection with Your Inner Being- Mindset Reset
One of the hardest things to teach is self-connection—yet, connecting with yourself is the only way to create a sense of belonging and empowerment, and it’s the only way to find authenticity. With that much riding on inner connection, we have to build an inner relationship that starts somewhere, and that somewhere is within you.
Jillian from Bar Harbor, Maine, wrote in and said, “Danielle, I read a quote the other day that said, ‘If you do not feel like you have a place in the world, connect with your inner self.’ (End quote). That’s a fine statement, but what if you do not feel like you are connected with yourself, either? Sometimes I feel as if I’ve been asleep my entire life. As I do more work on healing and growing, as you suggest, I feel as though I need a few more tools to connect with myself. What would you suggest?
Epi 100: Purpose Hunting: Questions to Help Root Out Your Purpose - Mindset Reset
Oh, my goodness, this is the 100th episode of the Get Your Life Together, Girl Podcast! What an adventure this has been—I’m so grateful for everyone who has listened, written in, asked questions, and suggested topics. You’ve made all 100 episodes incredibly special. I’m excited to see what another 100 brings.
Today, I thought we would chat about purpose!
So, let’s dive in. First, I want us to shift our perspective. I believe we have gotten too narrow in our thinking when it comes to the idea of living our purpose or finding one life purpose. This conversation may go against popular belief, and I’m okay with that.
Epi 92: Replacing Old Patterns & Finding Purpose with Claire Campagna
Have you ever asked yourself, “Why am I here?” “What is my purpose?” Or worse, “How did I get here?!”
Not knowing your purpose or how your life has been molded into something you cannot recognize as yours directly challenges self-love, inner peace, and overall life fulfillment. The trust is taking steps, no matter how small, to live in alignment with our soul’s purpose can drastically change our inner and outer world in ways we can’t even imagine.
To go a step further, to get your life together, you must know what you want and where you’ve been. That’s why I sat down with soul-centered mentor Clarie Campagna to talk about the long-term impact of feeling stuck and uncertain of your life’s path and how each of us can start to identify our needs, passions, and ultimate purpose.
Epi 65: Stop Trading Your Time For Money - Take Your Passion Social with IG Guru Brittney Batla
Are you trading your time for money while denying your inner desires and purpose? So many women do. In continuing our conversation about full life ownership and getting your life together, we again focus on turning our passions into tangible, life-sustaining businesses. This time, we shift our mindset into making our social media pages into something more than a collection of staged photos and funny memes.
This week we chat with Instagram Guru and Strategist, the queen of everything IG, Brittney Batla. Brittney is all about permitting yourself to build your dreams. With this mindset, she takes us on a journey through her own leap into business, her struggles, the best tested IG strategies, and we talk about how women can help serve other women by doubling down on themselves! She’s been a personal help to me while building the Get Your Life Together, Girl community, and I know she will inspire you, too.
Epi 61: Have Boss Girl Ambitions? Mindfully Turning Purpose into Business with Attorney Rachel Brenke
Many women struggle with the question: What is my purpose? Of course, most of us know that we want to feel loved, successful, make a positive impact, and make enough money to feel satisfied, but we are often left with the following question: how?
This week we mindfully explore your unique purpose and go on a journey through how to move that spark into a thriving business. As women, we often hold ourselves back, but once you do the work to get your life together, little stops your purpose, passion, and ambition from igniting. To help you mindfully avoid the pitfalls of work/life balance, how to start a business, and what you need to be successful, I sat down with Attorney, Creator, and team USA Runner Rachel Brenke, who hands over the foundational steps necessary to get started in any venture, how to create balance along the way, and how to be free of imposter syndrome.
Epi 13: The Importance of Living life through Intention and Expectation - Tara’s Story
What do the words intention and expectation mean to you? For most, they represent an aim, a plan, and how we expect the events in our lives to unfold. Yet, it’s no secret that life has a way of dramatically changing at a moment’s notice, which shifts our expectations and intentions. For Tara Parsons, revealing this great truth started on an icy mountain road and ended in a car accident that dramatically changed her life.
Epi 10: Sometimes All You Need Is A Pair of Pink Cowgirl Boots to Stitch Your Life Back Together - Madison’s Story
Each week, I ask women to be vulnerable, tell their stories, and offer each of us a perspective that we can apply to our own growth. However, it wouldn’t be fair, nor vulnerable, if I didn’t deep dive into a time and place where my own life revolution was in full swing. And yet, it’s a story that I walked through from the outside in. The story belongs to my fourteen-year-old daughter, Madison. A story of facing a life-altering surgery at the age of nine, finding her way through medical turmoil and life without a vital organ, the lessons she taught me, and the realization that both of us found our purpose in moments neither of us was confident we had the strength to survive.
Epi 4: Finding A New Life Outside of Fear - Priyal's Story
Is it possible to find the woman you are meant to be inside your most challenging and defining story? Can self-love be born out of everything rapidly falling apart? Those are the life-altering questions that Priyal Levine faced as she found herself examining whether she married for the right reasons and if she had the strength to bravely walk through her husband’s frightening, life-threatening medical crisis. As she stood outside of Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City on Election Day, she swiftly came to realized that the life revolution she needed was being handed to her one painstaking hour at a time. Take a deep dive with Danielle and Priyal as they decision finding yourself inside of fear.
